Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information You Provide
When you submit the contact form at /contact, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically log standard technical information when you visit the Site, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring/exit pages, and pages viewed, along with the date and time of visits. When enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve the Site. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish visitors. See Cookies & Analytics below for how to opt out.
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site, including diagnosing technical issues.
- To understand aggregate visitor trends (e.g., which pages are most useful) through analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the security and integrity of the Site.
We do not use information submitted through the Site for automated decision-making, and we do not sell personal information.
3. Cookies & Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics (GA4), which relies on cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data. This data is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visit by using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, enabling “Do Not Track” or similar privacy settings in your browser, or blocking cookies through your browser preferences.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — vendors that process data on our behalf, such as Google (Analytics) and our email delivery provider used to route contact form submissions to our team.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Keystone Shield, our personnel, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Controlled and Classified Information
This Site is a public marketing website and is not an approved channel for transmitting classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), export-controlled technical data (ITAR/EAR), or other sensitive government information. Please do not submit any such information through the contact form or any other part of the Site. See our Security page for how to report a security concern instead.
6. Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the Site, including transmitting the Site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
You may decline to provide information through the contact form, though this will limit our ability to respond to your inquiry. You may opt out of analytics cookies as described above. To request that we delete correspondence you previously sent us, email info@keystoneshieldllc.com.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a professional, business, and government audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
